Winter Aid Distribution – West Bekaa Refugee Camp

On the 20th December 2016, staff from the Lebanon Field Office visited a Syrian refugee camp to deliver much needed humanitarian aid to those struggling to stay warm as the winter approaches.

With thanks to Mrs. Parveen Tanvir and family, we were able to distribute aid to 70 families. We delivered mattresses, safe fuel, children’s winter clothes and shoes and blankets to refugee families that have been twice displaced. It is worth remembering that many of the refugees fleeing the violence in Syria are originally Palestinians who were forced to leave their homes in the mid-20th century.
