Meet Rasha, 27, Palestinian refugee from Syria

We met Rasha in Al Aoudi Syrian refugee camp in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.

“My name is Rasha and I’m a Palestinian from Syria. I am seven months pregnant and I haven’t seen a doctor yet. I live in the camp with my five children. They are often sick because of the bad conditions we live in. The rain is leaking from our ceiling and they are cold during the night. My husband can’t find work. He used to work in Syria and we had a good financial situation. My family is still in Aleppo and I haven’t seen them in 5 years. I miss them terribly. I don’t know what the future holds for us and I am scared for my baby.”
