Bearing Witness in Palestinian refugee camps, Lebanon

Over the next week, Victoria Brittain, Naomi Foyle and Yvonne Ridley will be accompanying Interpal’s field office staff as they visit women and their families in Palestinian refugee camps across Lebanon.
Today, the delegation visited Beqaa Valley and spoke to Syrian and Palestinian-Syrian refugees in Bar Elias Camp and Al Aoudi Camp, the latter being the only recognised camp for Syrian refugees in the area.
The aim of the visit is to raise awareness and bear witness to the ongoing catastrophe currently taking place among Palestinian refugees, and the particular impact it is having on women and their families.
Stay tuned for daily updates from the camps.
