Hussein's hopes

Hussein, 75 years old, is a Palestinian man from Al Kabri village. He lives with his family in a small house in Burj El Barajneh Camp, Lebanon.

He suffers from kidney failure and goes on dialysis twice a week. He received a cheque $700 from Interpal’s social fund to cover the cost of his treatment. His wife suffers from asthma and hypertension. They both depend on their daughter, whose low income doesn’t cover the family basic needs.

Hussein wishes to go back to Palestine. He told us that one day, “Palestine will be free and prosperous”.
