Labeebah's hopes
Labeebah is a 74 year-old Palestinian woman who was born in Al Ghabssieh village, in Acre district. Labeebah now lives with her family in Burj EL Barajneh Camp, Lebanon, where she owns a big house and a candy shop. She suffers from diabetes and hypertension.

Although she was only 8 years old when her parents left Palestine for Lebanon, she still remembers her father’s house. She says the house was very big and consisted of three rooms and a kitchen. Her father was a wealthy man who owned several cows and sheep.
Labeebah dreams to go back to Palestine and sit under SETNA SEDRA: a big tree with a long thorn and a yellow flower. “Palestine will be free; her name will be written in Golden Letters on the World Map.” – Labeebah
